Privacy & Terms

Last updated September 28, 2026 · Privacy Policy · Terms of Use

This page explains how Offstone LLC (“Offstone,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with www.offstone.com and our other domains that redirect to it (the “Site”), and the terms that apply when you use the Site.

Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you enter, along with anything else you choose to include. When your message is delivered to us, it also notes the approximate country your request came from, based on your IP address. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments.

Technical information. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any website, operating and securing it involves processing basic technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. Cloudflare processes this information to deliver the Site, protect it against attacks and abuse, and keep short‑term service logs that we use for troubleshooting.

Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used — for example, which pages are visited, how quickly they load, and the general type of device and country of visitors. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage, and is not used to track you across other websites or to build a profile of you.

2. How we use information

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site itself does not set cookies, and it does not use local storage, advertising cookies or cross‑site tracking.

Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as cf_clearance) if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated bot — for example, when showing a brief verification page. This cookie is used only for security and is not used for advertising or tracking.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information.

We share information only as needed to run the Site and handle communications: with Cloudflare, which hosts the Site, provides security and analytics, and delivers contact‑form messages; and with Google, which provides our email. These providers process information on our behalf and for these purposes.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Offstone, visitors to the Site, or others.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected — such as responding to and keeping a record of our correspondence — and as needed for legitimate business purposes and to meet applicable legal requirements.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, and the Site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no transmission over the Internet and no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Third‑party links

The Site may link to websites operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. California privacy

Offstone does not sell personal information or share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising. California residents may contact us at hello@offstone.com with questions about our privacy practices or to ask about, correct or delete personal information we hold about them, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top will show when it last changed.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page; continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

2. Information only — not an offer or advice

The Site provides general information about Offstone, a private family office. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, fund interest or other investment, or an offer of investment advisory, brokerage or other financial services. Offstone does not solicit or accept outside investors through the Site.

Nothing on the Site is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and you should not rely on it as such. Statements about our approach or objectives are forward‑looking, reflect our views at the time they were written, and may change without notice.

3. Contacting us

Sending us a message does not create any business, advisory, fiduciary or other relationship with Offstone, and we have no obligation to respond. Please do not send confidential or proprietary information through the Site. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, we are not obligated to keep unsolicited submissions — including investment proposals, business plans or ideas — confidential, and we may use them without obligation to you.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including the Offstone name and logo, text, images and design, are owned by Offstone LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual‑property laws. You may view the Site and share links to it for personal, non‑commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from its content, or use our name or marks, without our prior written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site in violation of any law; send spam, malicious code or unlawful, harassing or infringing content through the contact form; attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Site or its infrastructure; interfere with its operation; or scrape or harvest information from it by automated means.

6. Third‑party websites

The Site may link to websites operated by others. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Offstone disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non‑infringement, accuracy and availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Offstone LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Site or these terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Offstone LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees and agents from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.

11. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy above, are the entire agreement between you and Offstone regarding the Site. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them without restriction.
